Born in Singapore and moved to Sydney Australia at just 12 months old, JC has always been a ‘traveller'. She had a major setback as a child that would later become a driving force to help others both in personal life and in business. Being an adaptable and creative quick thinker, made her fast on her feet. She was always looking after people and animals and became very resourceful. JC would love to solve problems as a ‘littler helper’, giving ideas constantly. Her entrepreneurial mind was constantly in ‘go’ mode. She filled pages and pages of books with thoughts and ideas. She was always 'selling' something, solving problems. Hand making butter into different shapes to sell, picking flowers to make bouquets and ‘perfume’, ( wasn't great perfume but it was the thought that counted, right?) bartered and traded services amongst friends, neighbours and family. ( the start of a career in sales perhaps?)
She loved learning about human behaviour, lyrics and songs, serving her well in her later in life acting for tv and movies. She was a natural 'entertainer'. Music, art, dance, theatre, sport -she was an all rounder. Won an award or two, but would not give up on doing everything she loved to focus on ‘specialising’ in one thing. By the age of 12, she had poetry published, had both performed and sang in the Opera House and was accepted into the QLD women's cricket team by the age of 16. Hockey was her major passion though, and continues to play and coach today. She represented the state in the Australian Masters Championships at age 40. Proving you're never 'too old' and it’s never too late to start.
